The Lakeside Pub Needs Bartenders and Servers

The classic Lakeside Pub, the popular eatery and pub that overlooks beautiful Lake Laramont, is in need of several new bartenders and members of the serving staff. If you think you are qualified, come on in and ask for an application and interview.

There are currently two part-time bartender positions (or one full-time, if someone would prefer it) and four part-time server positions available at various times of day. Bartenders are expected to have a strict schedule, as they are needed to cover the bar throughout the day, but we are willing to be flexible with our servers, to work around their school schedules as best we can.

Servers will be expected to be able to handle orders, carry trays of food and drinks, and help create a friendly environment. The pay is reasonable and you can expect to make good tips, especially on weekends. Previous wait staff experience is a plus, but not required.

Bartenders must have either previous active bartending experience or have completed bartending training within the last two years. There are no exceptions. Although active wait staff can do on-the-job training to work their way up to bartender, if they are willing to put in the extra time for training.

Come on down to the Lakeside Pub (at 816 Lakeside Drive) to apply and see if you think the place is right for you.

No matter what position you are thinking of applying for, understand that they may come with a certain minimal uniform you will be expected to maintain during your working hours. If this is not something you would be comfortable with, please save us all the time and don't apply. A test of the uniform will be done during all interviews, just to see if it works for you.
